Chris Paul is the best point guard in the league. When healthy he can put up number that no one else can. Averaged 22 points and 11 assists. Unbelievable! Deron williams is good but not even close. Chris beats deron in every stat except height. How is it even close. 19 4 10 and 1 steal vs 22 5 11 and above 2 steals and better field goal percentage. Best point for next 8 years or so. Unless he's not healthy.

@Blackhandles Actually he's averaged those number for the whole year. Last year he had injury problem so he couldn't really put up numbers like those the entire season but the year before he put up those numbers the whole year. The guys career average is 19 and 10 and he's only around 24. The best is yet to come. Those are the true stat line for Cp3 if healthy. If you look at closely his all around game is better then kobe and maybe dwade and if he was taller it would probably be better then LJ.

@m4cklove True. He is one of the faster players in the nba but doesn't really show you that. He would probably be even better if the hornets ran more instead of slowing it down. With a new coach who said was going to run more I think this is going to be his best year. And he has already put up unbelieveable numbers.

@TheFuzzynandez I get where your coming from but Chris has always put up better numbers. One of the best things about Chris is that he is really competetive and I don't really see the same aggresiveness in Deron. Although Deron is probably faster and stronger I think Chris's IQ is way ahead of Deron. Chris doesn't use speed or strength he just tears the defense apart. It's just a one man's opinion but I think Chris works harder and is better.

@DaFuture14 I don't get how rondo can be the best point guard. I like rondo's game but his offense really needs help. He's a great passer he just can't score the ball well enough. He can't shoot either. And if they think deron is better then Chris then how come Chris has better numbers in every stat catagory. Deron is taller and stronger and yet doesn't grab as many rebounds as Chris. Chris has a better field goal % and threes point and free throw. Deron just isn't good enough.

@shockeem3 Paul is really smart but I think it very close with Steve nash. Paul is quiker and stronger then nash and so can take contact and still finish. Nash has to do with just his brain and shooting and passing ability. Chris is definitely better then Nash though. Not by to much but is better.

Good point (ty23ful) and Paul is agreat player but in terms of greatest PG ever thats i tough call there have been some pretty great ones i'm not even convinced that he is the best PG in the league to my mind there are at least 3 which rank above him (Chauncy Billups, Rajon Rondo, Steve Nash) Paul's career will be a great one but im not sure that hes a sure hall of famer

@HEEBZZ Ok Chauncy and rondo both have rings but they are not even close to Cp3. The numbers don't match up and the alround game doesn't match up. Cp3 can do every thing Chauncy and Rondo can't. I think Chauncy is more of a shooter then scorer where as CP3 can do both and Rondo can't shoot or score. He can run fast and pass and thats it on offense. They just can't put up the same number or have an alround game like Chris. Even kobe doesn't have an alround game like Chris.

Can't really compare CP3 and Iverson.Iverson was a striaght up scorer didnt really have a designated position he just scored from anywhere.CP3 is a true Point Gaurd and for both of their respective positins they will probably be top 5 players for their position when its all said and done.
