You are a fucking idiot. Go ride your bicycle and stop commenting on things you know nothing about. This car was built to make full boost by 7000 RPM. Due to the two step rev limiter and the way building boost on a turbo car like this works, you come off the line at 6800 RPM, slip the 6-puck clutch a bit and grab second as fast as you can. I have done 0-60 in 3.0 seconds. 0-100 in 7.4. You don't just dump the clutch on these cars or it will bog.

The turbo is fine dumbass. The problem was the wastegate. We added a helper spring and brought the baseline wastegate pressure to 24lbs, and then tuned for it. I love how projects are under construction, and you want to shit all over them. Go throw yourself off a bridge.

I have an 07 with longer gears, and I also have a 8K rev limit. I trap 97 MPH through the 1/8th mile staying in 3rd. Please try to do some research before being wrong.

Can you make a 0-120+ speedo acceleration video? Although the gearing of our cars is different ('07 vs '06) and looks like you're using a launch control, I would like to see how our acceleration compares when timed. I have no access to dyno or track so I road tune mine and other cars in town and calculate/videotape my acceleration. I figure about 11.3sec @ 126mph in the 1/4 for my car. I've seen you post in other forums. Stock STi's can get into the 12's with the right launch... new clutch and axles and launching method or tires perhaps, I think low 12's at the same trap speed or more are feasible. I've seen your speedo vid.

Sounds like plain old 07 sti gears. I believe andrewtech built the motor in this car.

Stock STI tranny with twin disc clutch at the time. If you know how to slip the clutch just a little to stay in boost, you will not break parts very often. I have not broken anything.

You are missing the point about the tranny. It doesn't matter if its a WRX OR STI tranny, if you are CLUTCH dumping it at REDLINE like that you WILL break it, PERIOD. There is a video on youtube of someone doing just that to their STI and breaking and snapping the tranny. Look up sti clutch dumps.

It depends on two things. The pressure plate of the clutch being dumped, AND if you are just side stepping the pedal. If you know how to launch an AWD car they can take a lot. Just can't snap the pedal from the floor to full engage, you need to use a little finess ;-).

You are wrong. The clutch dump STI you mention broke a rear axle, and the STI 6-speed is good to 700wtq+

It's capable of breaking the weak axles...the STi tranny is pretty rock solid. Now the glass trans in the wrx is completely different.

Wastegats is now fixed. I went to a 1.4 bar spring system. The response is awesome, I am making peak boost 500 rpm faster. New vids coming after new dyno tune with meth kit in a couple weeks.
