Apapagia i agree with you as it concrns the work of GIG ,i ve read Ouspensky and other great works deriving from His teaching...although i recognize his great work unfortunately i know that he was one of the best advisors of Adolf Hitler and other.....this does not mean that his work is not precious for us,but consulting a murderer is not apropriate for free men....

GIG according to the OSHO was a " saint rascal" . You may be heard one side of the history. Obviously GIG was a advisor of Adolf Hitler but everything he gave him worked against Hitler himself at the end.For example the "swastika" which nazist had as symbol is actually a mirror image an old esoteric symbol. The mirror symbol of swastika bring you luck and victory but the swastika which used by naizist symbolized & bring you dead & defeat.

It was GIG who advised nazist to use the swastika , it was during 1939-1940. When he came come out from the room where he meet the naizists he had smile on his lips and told to one of his disciples " The symbol will do its jobb after 5 years!" . After 5 year on 1945 the Hitler defeated. People like GIG can not be on the side of a person like Hitler, othervise some thing is wrong with all exsistence and universum!

@jawfrosh There is no polarity in the meaning of the swastika and the sauvastika as you say. A basic course in Asian and European pre-Christian symbolism will teach you that. The nazis (the NSDAP to be more precise) have used the swastika since 1920, not 1939. There is thus no need for pseudo-occult abberations. Besides the nazis had Wiligut and other astrologers to mystically screw things up for them. There was no need for Gurdjieff to do it.

How do you know that he was a secret agent? Do you have any proof of it or you just had a dream about it? By the way, if Gurdjieff was far from being a spiritual master then how a spiritual person should according to you? And now when he is not among us the question of his spirituality is not relevant. The work and the effect he leaved after him is proof enough that he was a spiritual man!

Objective music, as this is an example of, is that because of the source, the "place" of the Being playing and composing it. It does have the same effect on all. The difference is only in where a person is in his or her inner development... And what each is able to 'receive' from it.
