ya know everyone who is upset about tennent leaving his role as the doctor let me me give you a positive look on it he's leaving so that some other lucky person will get a chance to give the role of the doctor a shot and they will probably be just as good or maybe even better

i think the only reason the tend to bring the cubermen and daleks back alot is because they think its gonna be scaring the kids. i dont think alot of them get that scared actually cuz kids nowadays are used to alot more then what my mum would have been used to.

The new team (taking over after the four specials in 2009) have made it VERY clear that there will be no returning characters. They are very keen on making a "proper" change and will link back to the then-old series as little as possible.
Example: We have met River Song, a "future" assistant. She won´t be coming back in the next full series. "Future" and "next" are really broad terms. :)
Did you know that RTD played with the idea of having Jk Rowling for the christmas special. Apparently, she would get a beetle on her back and ZAM! The modern world is replaced with victorian magic and the Doctor has to get to JK in the centre of it all. David Tennant didn't like it, though and thought it sounded to much like a spoof so they went back to the origonal plan of cybermen in victorian england

i heard that too apparently they are a mutated form of cybermen known as the cybershade according too wikipedia and they are wraith like creatures that have a bronze or rusted coloured helmet with the diamond shaped piece on the helmet instead of the square like shape.

It sounds like there will be something besides Cyberman. There is a three-beat to the footsteps.
Also, does anyone know if David Morrissey or Derla Kyrwan will be the doctor's companion? Dervla's expression (the lady in red) seemed more like she was going to be the bad guy.
It is interesting that Dervla was in Casanova with David (as his mother) and Morrissey was in Blackpool.

Okay...I was wondering about this, and maybe someone's already talked about this, but I'm curious. The cybermen we've seen in the new series were from a parallel Earth, right?
One thing I noticed is that Russell Davies kept stressing that these were cybermen from an alternate Earth. But he also didn't say the original cybermen were gone either. I'm wondering if we're going to see a cybermen vs. cybermen 2.0 war in the near future.
One can hope, right?

The stomp of their feet makes an interesting beat. xD I was almost anticipating some sort of song to go along with it. (= Aw, well. Can't wait till Christmas. ^^

its Judoon? thats embarressing! lol! but when he says it, it sounds like judhoo (and im terrible at spelling so it probably wouldnt be spelt like that even if i was right). and it was him that talked to the judoon! he said 'dont hurt me, i was only trying to help, please dont hurt me' REMEMBER? and then the judoon cheif person said something like 'language: earth, english'

i heard that too apparently they are a mutated form of cybermen known as the cybershade according too wikipedia and they are wraith like creatures that have a bronze or rusted coloured helmet with the diamond shaped piece on the helmet instead of the square like shape.

Also these bronze?rusty cybermen are called the cybershade, but i dont think there oringinal cybermen, seein as tho the cybermen are back in victorian times, maybe the cybermen have had to upgrade people with scrap as the technology would not have been around in that time

I totally agree with the comments about bringing back the mondas cybermen, or even the telosian bad boy cybermen, these cybus ones are a kinda let down, but they still look great and are a good doctor who monster, the title has not been released yet and according to RTD it wont be, all he has said is that the episode title is 3 words long and that it is a total give away !!!
