actually they are. You can hook up a brain such as an Alesis DM5 and they'll work as a normal e-drum set.

RB REALLY needs to get a harder difficulty for drums - the requires 2 Bass Pedals and maybe another pad?

seriously, some songs lose their pure difficulty with only one pedal (this one being one of them)

Some of the new songs for DLC are charted with double bass. One good example is Hammer Smashed Face. The only possible way to play it that I can think of though is using a splitter with the GHWT set, because the Robah set can't accept two bass pedals down at once.

Well, I'll worry about that when people actually FC songs such as This Is Exile, Embedded, and all those ones. Because all though Rock Band doesn't have double bass charts, those are still a challenge, and as long as there's a challenged there's no need to create even more challenges.

I see your point - but whats the point in making a song lose the pure essence that makes it a song worth playing? (most "FC"s of songs like Conquer All wouldn't exist is the double bass was charted).

Drummers like Mike Portnoy and Niel Peart need to be shown for..well..how good they truly are, by acurately charting their drum beats (for Portnoy, you would need about 30 pads and 3 or 4 pedals just to start mapping his beats propperly - but thats excesive, 5 or 6 pads and 2 pedals would do)
