A good Kiss album but not better than Animalize or CN's. I give it 3 stars! I dislike 2-3 songs off of it but more power to you if you dig it.There is no such thing as a bad Kiss album my friend!

@robzombys1 Sonic Boom is a bad Kiss album my friend. Not cause Tommy and Eric but the only jem on there is Modern Day Delihah and the rest of the cd is junk. The song Never Enough sounds like a poison rip off

@petzxy Asylum is 1 cd you crank up past 10 and wait for your neighbors to call the cops! Asylum resembles Animalize but with much better songs and better guitar work and the newer remasters sound so awesome!

@colemann76 i really enjoy Murder in High Hells not just because that lil focal riff is catchy but it reminds me of not one , but TWO of my good friends and the song gets better as it progresses. i like it more than Lonely is the Hunter; which would be my least favorite from Animalize. I also like Dance All Over Your Face because i find the refrain to be well crafted; especially the slight changes it has each time it's played -also Vinnie has a few choice licks on it!

@colemann76 indeed, differing opinions is what life is all about! for what it's worth only just this weekend after opening my mind and ears a bit more to Asylum i decided to buy it. this album may not have any Not For The Innocent's or Under the Gun's or Killer's but damnit it - it's "good enough"!!! and sometimes good enough is just that, just ask Destroyer (HAHA! which may be blasphemy but i find that album to be severely lacking overall!)

@the16th6toothson Asylum is my second favorite 80's KISS album behind Creatures Of The Night, i have never known why it's always been rated so low by fans and critics alike, but again, it's just my opinion, but my favorite all time KISS album is Rock n Roll Over.

@colemann76 sounds like a friend of mine, i guess his two faves are #1 Rock and Roll Over and #2 Creatures. I would say Creatures is my #1 (with relative ease) fav from the 70's is either the debut or Dressed to Kill. here in a few days i will find out just what i think of Asylum! let's see if you tube will let me finish this elsewhere...
