The Mormons' concept of hell is quite different from any I've heard. From what I understand, "hell" isn't a physical place with physical pain, but merely a state of mind. In other words, a person would be fully aware of their evil deeds, and would live with the guilt.
I keep my religious beliefs to myself, except to give a loose title too. That's it. They are as personal to me as my sexuality. Which I don't discuss much either. That's just me. And all are born of past experiences.
book of Mormon/Doctrines & Covenants/The Pearl of Great Price; The Kama Sutra, Excerps from Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Koran, Dianetics, Read & Know Bible, Revelations - Its Grand Climax is at Hand!, and the last one is an obscure hindu scripture called the Avadhuta Gita. its 8 short chapters of verse, basically The Divine trying to describe Itself, and you can read the whole thing online. i recommend the 1946 translation by Swami Ashokananda.
cosmology is bullshit, tho i did once read a book about pisces and thought hotdamn thats me! (also i have a whoppin great yin yang pisces tattoo.. so yea, contradictions over here too.. dont vote oojama for president of the atheists either! hahah!
i've studied astrology back in the day. its a fascinating distraction. add on sacred geometry, and apply that to astrology, and one risks mind implosion.

I never really saw people praying for me or 'Saving me' as them patronizing my beliefs in Atheism before.
Now it does feel pretty patronizing lol, i'm sure most of them don't realize though.

Realizing the unfairness of who goes to heaven and who goes to hell was one of the "aha" moments I had that began my deconversion.

Loved it...especially the ending. I recognized most of those books except the last one. Can you put a list of the books on the sidebar? Thanks!
