You guys are so bias. Its really sad. Fedor is a great Pride fighter. Coutore is a great UFC fighter. Its like comaparing rugby players to football players. Ping Pong to Tennis. It might all be fighting but the rules and the field all play are completely different. Any given sunday Couture or Fedor could beat each other. I think that The Natural would have an easier job at beating Fedor if it was an UFC fight. Same goes for Fedor in a Pride fight.

I think Fedor is an excellent fighter, good standup, great ground game etc., but if he does not fight a top ranked heavyweight soon (6 mos.) he has to drop down to #2 in the overall heavyweight rankings behind Couture due to inactivity. Cro Cop is not a contender anymore from his last 2 fights. I would love to see Aleks and Barnett in the UFC heavies as well.

Sure you can. Sports Sambo is similar to Judo in its grappling techniques but the competition rules are different. Combat Sambo is much more complete than either one. Fedor started his training with Russian Judo, then transitioned into Combat Sambo. Simple as that.
