  • Sensational sir

  • Hey Man, what tuning do you have it in?

  • very nice playing there

  • Like butter

  • my soul is yours , if you can teach me .. (nowone else can.).

  • very nice

  • @zombyzapper learn your grammar, damn troll

  • @FAWEXX go back to class. This isn't an English test you lost phuck

  • @zombyzapper actually doing my abitur, don't worry.

  • @FAWEXX you might have some latent talent but its not shown here! Go phuck yersef.

  • this is sweet man!

may i ask what fine guitar you're playing this on ?

  • nicely done

  • What kind of Mic did you use to record this?

  • @aforcevids An Audio Technica pro 24 stereo mic.

  • I have a glass slide. I notice your brass(?) slide. Do you have any thoughts on the differences? Do you only use a metal slide? Is it preference? Did I buy the wrong slide? Have you tried the metal slide that you flip it and you have full finger movability? Lot of questions sorry.

  • @barimayberry The slide in the video is solid brass and kind of heavy. I do own a glass as well as a chrome slide but brass is my preference

  • @barimayberry I know you didn't ask me but as an avid slide player I find glass on electric gives me a smooth tone that I personally like. But on acoustic or resonator in this case I prefer metal slides, gives that delta bite and growl

  • I am 49 and when I was in JR High learning Guitar it was me and the mirror and a chord chart. What would it be like to start Guitar And Dobro and have thousands of teachers like you willing to allow you to see up close how it is done. Damn that would be nice. Thank God for You Tube and thank you for this amazing example. Wow I learned so much. I bought 1978 Dobro Single cone nickel plated brass 6 months ago.

  • nice playing man. good sound tone. nice cool sliding. excellent.

    cheers from greece.

  • always wanted to be able to play this tune. I fell in love with it when I bought The Platinum Collection Blues, Blues, Blues

  • Fabulous version. This and "to do this you got to know how"(lonnie johnson) are the best guitar instrumentals of all time imho....

  • @seteef Thanks for the compliment. I would also like to add "Away Down In The Alley" and "Stomping 'Em Along Slow" to that list of best guitar instrumentals.

  • very nice!!

  • @bentheled Thank you.

  • @bentheled Thank you.

  • Really fantastic...you have amazing touch and control. Thanks for posting this!

  • @Blueinvt Thanks so much. I spent a lot of time playing this tune to get the right sound and feel. Trying to get the guitar to sing the melody is hardest part.

  • Very nice rendition sir! Thanks for sharing Peace Tim Pan Alley

  • @Tim5768393 Thank you.

  • That, my friend, is one real nice tune!!! Nicely played and the camera is placed perfectly. Did I say how nice that was?

  • @donluke578 Thanks for the compliment. I shot several takes using different camera angles to get it just right.
