  • damn, this should be in "scarred"

  • is that bone at 0:30?

  • No need to have the music....an interesting vet procedure, marred by your stupid overlay of "scary" soundtrack.

  • This killed my stomach

  • This is for cosmetic purposes?

  • my horse has a injury that got proud flesh not as bad as this one but it really isn't all that bad and its painless for the horse as the tissue has no nerve endings. i don't get the jaws music either but i love the song.

  • wtf why did you put this on

  • i dont get the jaws music??

  • that is crazy

  • every one get over it, its a horse haven abit of flesh cut back it happens it aint that big a deal really

  • bloods not pink

  • What happened to it D:

I'm not squeemish at all (especially if its just a video) but wow, that was pretty narley

  • this just KINDA grosses me out but only because it's a live horse and it's blood is like...dripping down... it's actually quite sad though.. :( what a sad story...

  • Stop yelling at her sheesh!!! Its just a video of a horse in surgery if it grosses you out then why are you watching it in the first place??? Itd be more cruel to NOT go through with necessary surgey so that you can watch the wound twist deform and get infected. This surgery is necessary the vet knows what shes doing! If the horse needs surgery give it surgery and for all yyou

"this is cruel!" wimps, DONT LOOK UP HORSE INJURIES ITS NOT GONNA BE PRETTY

  • Agree. Sometimes the proud flesh has to be cut away using surgery. This vet knows what she/he is doing - been through a veterinary degree! Not all surgeries are successful, but a qualified veterinary surgeon would have tried their very best. It's not like the veterinary surgeon wants the horse to be euthanised! Even if the surgeon isn't emotionally involved it isn't good for business. But all vets are caring and know what they are doing.

  • i dont get why some of you are so upset right now. it was a VET. she obviously new what she was doing. instead of giving this poor person your crap, maybe you should just ask your vet.

  • just wondering why cutting the proud flesh away was neccesary? i have seen several injuries like this and each one had stuff put on it which eats away the proud flesh (i forget what it is called)... very sad to hear this horse was euthanised :(

  • Oh my fucking goodness! what's wrong with you ? , i mean , what's the problem . i get sick when i saw this , really was this necesary for the poor horse , what the hell... what was it fucking affecton ?

( i'm sorry , but this looks like a butcher , you must explain why this is necessary ... )

  • If the proud flesh isn't removed, the wound will never heal properly. So, yes. It is necessary.

  • It was a VET. Obviously, the vet wouldn't do something unnecessary, would she/he?

  • i hope it T_T ... i was so impressed , it was like an alive jam ...

  • wäHH

  • looks like a fun procedure to watch, my dads horse slipped and fell and gashed to the bone a 3x6 inch thing on her hind leg. she was never lame, but got a bunch of stitches and 1.5 months off.....

  • what s the problem that requires such surgery ?

and what will be the consequence if this is not performed ? after all, sadly this futher induces bone infection...

  • that poor horse

  • whats wrong with you?

  • vonholly11

Calm the eff down!!! Are you a vet? NO!

  • I'm more worried about the horse kicking back

  • read the description and follow the links.. The horse had to be eauthanized due to infection spreading to and overtaking the bone.

Sorry to hear. That is an interesting wound tho. And I am amazed at how well behaved he seemed to be thru the whole ordeal.

  • how is the horse now? did it heal nicely?

  • Poor boy. That injury looks uncomfortable. I hope he had a speedy recovery.

  • that horse is so out of it! Look at it's dropped head. Do you haev any recovery footage? It would be good to see it all healed up.

  • That happened to me once. I didn't have the cool soundtrack to help me through it, though. Oh well.... Maybe next time.
