Yes, it was a dive. That's clear. But why is Eduardo the only player being villified for diving. This is the only dive I can remember him doing and, besides, Wayne Rooney did exactly the same thing to win a penalty against Arsenal the next weekend (one that actually changed the course of the game btw). And how much stick did he get about it? Absolutely nothing. Seems to me like one rule for some and another for others.

ofcourse the decision to ban him was overturned. If it wasn't, they would have had 100's of complaints on their agenda after each fixture. What they should do is implement 2 more referees, one to stand behind each goal. That would solve everything.
Oh and yes, Eduardo might have dived, but diving ONCE in the entire career is nothing compared to some English players. So don't be hypocrites, be fair and stop booing him on the field. He doesn't deserve it.

Call it what you like, but for a player who only returned from an injury that could have ended his career after two years extra caution may be seen as a dive. Eduardo can be forgiven for being extra careful especially when he has no history of diving like a few Manchester United players and a notable Ivorian striker at Chelsea.
