they have better foam grip, but it's still not grippy enough if your doing handrails or stairsets. You should X-treme grip, it's definitely worth the buy. Watch my reviews if you need more info

Icons may cost more but take note!

Icon's comes with X-treme grip which is pretty much a must have for those very icy days, icon's comes with graphics (not that it matters quality wise but it is a nice feature) icons also got more pop due to the unique nose and tail design.. Ambitions got more and smaller channels which should give some more speed, but then again Icons got larger channels so they are better to lock onto rails with which is something i find very important!
