I see that people have been asking for this person to post the rest of them the last 3 years or so, apparently they don't plan to finish it. @dvfer444 I have seen LOTCH and ROTCH. Is Demi Gods, Semi Devils a part of this also? And what about Young warriors of the Yang Clan? I have seen all of them, I love them, yet not sure that I have watched them in the correct order, or if they coincide with each other.. yet it seems as though they are all related and in my opinion, the order would be YWOTYC, DGSD, LOTCH and ROTCH.. as I said, I am not sure, yet this is what I gather from viewing. Are there any missing, any other adaptations?

YWOTYC 杨家将 and DGSD 天龙八部 are during (960 - 1127 AD - Northern Song Dynasty)

LOTCH 射雕英雄传 and ROTCH 神雕侠侣 are during (1127 - 1279 AD - Southern Song Dynasty)

"The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" 倚天屠龙记 (1368－1644 AD Ming Dynasty) is one of Trilogy of LOTCH and ROTCH , some material art techniques are inherited.

“Sword Stained With Royal Blood” 碧血剑 is during the end of Ming Dynasty.

I would love to know more, I really enjoyed all of these. In fact I have watched them all several times, except for Sword stained with royal blood which I just finished watching for the very first time.. If you could recommend any more of these I would be so glad. I had the right order after all ;D

I also like "Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain" and "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer," or called "Laughing in the Wind" especially the second one! The 2001 edition of TSPW is fantastic! It seems ppl are waiting for the rest of it. I'm watching Laughing in the wind & I LOVE it!! I'm at episode 10-3 where Linghu leaves the cave to help his master, right after *Grandmaster* teaches him magic sword & as he is leaving, he meets the 6 immortals and had the fight with the stick of bamboo.. I LOVE this!!

@nomikjustkaty Glad you enjoy it! I hate the quality of subtitle though. Technique names are so ingeniously designed by Jin Yong translated into something like "magic sword," "magic power"... magic sword = Du Gu Jiu Jian = Nine Swordsman's Techniques created by Du Gu (Du Gu Qiu Bai is the ultimate grandmaster of HuaShan, Du Gu means staying alone, Qiu Bai means begging to be defeated). Jin Yong's work contains the essence of Chinese classic literature and art. I hope they've done a better job..

@dvfer444 Well it seems that I was able to derive this from the subtitles, thus it must be good enough, that anyone with any common sense should be able to decipher it.. ^_~ I really do enjoy watching all of these.. I do feel that they have maintained the essence of the Novels to somewhat of a degree, if what you say is indeed true.. it does contain the essence of classic literature and art.. at least to the extent that the viewer IS aware of it's essence..

@dudlebox not sure... du gu qiu bai character reference only occurred in Laughing in the wind, return of the condor hero, and The Deer and the Cauldron as I know of. But since he's the Sword Devil, and this series is all about swords, there might be some cross reference...

It is impossible,the story Sword Stained With Royal Blood took place in Late Ming dynasty(about A.D.1640),and du gu qiu ba had been dead for hundreds years.You know that lin hu chong（令狐冲）in The Legendary Swordsman（笑傲江湖 Mid Ming dynasty about A.D.1500）and yang guo（杨过）in The Return of the Condor Heroes（神雕侠侣 Late Southern Song dynasty about A.D.1270）were intellectual descendants of du gu qiu ba who was a mysterious figure who never showed up and only appeared in later generations'conversation.

I absolutely love An Jianqing's entree here... He makes a wonderfully formidable antagonist. The way he emerges out of the mist and rain sort of reminds me of the Terminator's skeleton emerging from flames. This dude is BAD news...:-) ***SPOILER WARNING*** BTW - I'd never guess, while watching the 1st ep, that I'd grow to actually *admire* An Jianqing. I shed a tear or two when he "left the stage"... ***END OF SPOILER***
