The difference between Devil sticks and Flower sticks is the weight. While a flower sticks have the straps of leather or whatever that is. Devil sticks have tennis balls.

what do you mean, tennis balls? do you mean the ends. a devil stick is just a piece of solid wood, which is about an inch or so in diameter and gets narrower until the center and then wider again. it has no grip usually, just wood but some have a grip though. they are also longer and they have nothing on the ends. what this guy is using weighs about 6 or 7 ounces while a devil stick weighs about 9-11 ounces. they are wider, longer, faster and way harder to control.

that stick you are using is a flowerstick, not a devil stick. flower sticks are a lot easier to play than real devilsticks, since the spin not that fast.

hahaha yeah too bad ur using the wrong devil stick. the stick u have is the same width all the way across which makes it easier. if u want to be good then u need to get a competittion stick which is skinnier in the middle look at this site if u want one my buddy has been making them for 16 years

good skills bro, but one comment. the sticks do bend, even tho they are solid. if you look into bojutsu, high speeds bend the stick, creating better control/better defense. in the way of devil sticks, jus provides a better effect. you should look into fire devil sticks(fire poi), you'd be the shit.

secondly thats a flower stick not a devil stick the small difference being its lighter and has tassels on the end so its slightly slower as well.

BTW There ate indeed sticks with lesser grip, but the big diference between devil- and flowersticks is the stabilaty as the loose ends of the flowerstick make them easier to control.

Flower sticks are still skillful. but best stick i've used are Lunastix. lightweight and good fun to use. using a proper stick with out flowers is a league in its own but unknown to those who don't play with sticks! altho it leads to fire:D

First of all, those are not devilsticks. They are flowersticks. Devilsticks do not have the tassels on each end which makes the flowerstick much easier to manipulate(juggle). It's time to move up the ladder and learn some new tricks and sticks. Fire Devilsticks perhaps.
