After the Spanish invation 500 years ago our Taino and Kalinago ancestors formed a peace and together fought for freedom. It is good to see that the spirit of that treaty still continues. Thank you Kasike (Chief) Charles. Our Guaitiao ceromony makes us relatives.
I applaud Chief Charles' unity affiliation with the United Confederation of Taino People. His positive participation within the Caribbean Indigenous Leadership is a shining beacon. I hope to hear more from this courageously astute Elder.
