So many sensible people think they need some "god" to do good and truly love when all they need is awareness. Religion or God believing conditioning only strengthen the church institution which throughout history till now has done horrible things. We are taught as child that Santa Claus and God exist, but choose to fearfully keep believing in the latter only. Humbly accepting our impermanence of normal/not superior living being would raise our awareness and free ourselves of evil and ignorance.
