  • The honorable member from Ulster is bi-winning!

  • This is so sad!!!!

  • I dont get why racist hate us (blacks) so much, you act like being black is a choice. I mean if you enslave a whole race of people, separate us from our families, lynching blacks left and right, what do you expect us to be like in this day in age???

  • Sad part I think this is what Congress does TODAY and most of those suckers are white. Think about there's a few old white guys with containers of whiskey or some types of alcohol beverage. Also the females more than likely take their shoes in session. Not mention members of congress doing some freakin stuff outside that building and possible in it.

  • Based on historical events, and providing a dire message for those of us today wise enough to remember the past and look to our ancestors for guidance.

  • This is an accurate depiction of negroes. And they are exactly the same way today. I see it everyday in NYC with my own eyes. There is no getting away from it. "Racial equality" is the biggest jewish lie ever perpetrated on humanity.

  • As for White's in Black face, any White who has lived with Savage's knows the real McCoy.

PC Tyranny is akin to Mao's Red Guard's circa 1968 or the criminals who knock off the Czar with his daughters and wife along with Trotsky-- Lenin who died of STD's in all itz glory.

  • LONDON, WI, or any where they are.

  • FEAR OF A BLACK PLANET....WHAT PARANOID DELUSION

  • I would love to see this movie get reboot or remade for today considering how Blacks evolved in eubonic crack smoking speaking gangstas. A reboot will teach modern audience the evil nature of people like 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Souljia Boy and why they are inhuman and a bad influence to younger generation

  • Formetoknowonly; I think you are right. This movie didn't help matters any either. There were a lot of dumb ass Whites then, like now.

  • I think a lot if not all were white guys in black face.

  • thanks for putting this up. It's good to be able to use this as a reference.

  • How was Griffith able to find all these African-Americans to portray their heroic grandfathers, the men who fought in the Civil War and tried under threats of death to enter the political life of the Republic, in such a horrible and negative light? I know they were paid, but what kind of men agree to portray their own people as shiftless, over-sexualized brutes completely incapable of conducting themselves in a dignified manner?

  • @mkeogh76 You have segments of all populations that are willing to do anything for money, attention or fame. The same as you can find white actors willing to take roles as stereotypical unsophisticated, evil, greedy Americans in foreign films or how movies here have Middle Eastern actors willing to portray zealous terrorists. Plus, many of the "black" actors in this movie are really whites in black face makeup. And we don't know if these actors were told what the entire movie was actually about.

  • Wow. This is just as true as it was a hundred years ago. They haven't changed a bit!

...the United States House of Representatives, that is. Except in this historical facsimile, they are all black for some reason.

  • I heard the usual P.C brigade are to remake the ending and have Obamacare workers coming to the rescue.

  • white people r devils

  • This was an accurate depiction of "radical reconstruction" that persisted until the Compromise of 1877. I believe if it wasn't for radical reconstruction we would not have seen the creation of the KKK or subsequent Jim Crow laws.

  • @FORMETOKNOWONLY That's absurd. Southerners were already instating "Black Codes" to curtail the rights and mobility of black freemen from the time between the end of the Civil War and BEFORE Radical Reconstruction started in 1867. Radical Reconstruction was a response to the reassertion of white supremacy and it ended decades too early.

  • 1:25

"Dayummmmmm dat sum good fried chicken"

    Further adding to stereotyping.

  • This is so funny and yet so FUCKING wrong!! I watched this movie with a friend and we were both couldn't stop laughing at this part.

@BlackVeganWarrior The part with the turkey bone and the other with the shoes cracked us up. Mainly because we couldn't believe this was very meant to be taken seriously.

  • but isnt most african countries governments like this anyway?

  • My history professor suggested we watch this movie. This is the most hilarious part. Seriously, they actually thought this? I like the guy standing up eating what looks like a turkey bone. Then they rule on interracial marriage and all the black legislature turn and look at the poor helpless white women with seducing eyes and then stand and cheer! Really! lol. Well I love white men, so I would have cheered too.

  • This is how the typical Republican sees the Obama administration...they hatred of him is pure out and out racism. These feelings don't just disappear in a 150 years. They are taught to their children and so forth.

  • Griffith Burn in HELL! FUCK D.W. Griffith !

That being said...The scene with that guy eatting the chicken was fucking halarious and then when the other guy took off his shoes and relaxed I lost it!

  • Lee Co. Sheriff, 6 others arrested on drug charges, face life in prison

    Very interesting news story,

  • The question is, is it a democracy or is it a republic?

  • See " The Color Of Crime"

  • @itchychinaman

Yes, you are right, indeed. Black people are cruel monsters. So are gays, asians and all poor people. And it's true because you were told so.

  • @insanej3 white people r devils

  • @insanej3 u dick

  • Meh, avatar was better.

  • This film does a good job of making you sympathize with the whites/KKK even if you're not racist. I found myself happy when the KKK came in to save the day, but afterwards I snapped out of it. Despite the racism in the film, it was an interesting piece to watch.

  • @kelloggcerealxoxo and there jack shit you can do about

  • if anyone would actually watch the entire film they might find that although racist it is a well done movie for the time in which it was made. Sure it is by far not PC but neither is spike lee films so please critique the film for being a film not the end all beat all of racist propaganda. If one wants to speak of racist films im sure triumph of the will will meet your needs. Besides this film is 97 years old the same standards of society were not in place no matter how wrong they were.

  • @TheStrazy

Yes, the interest of this film is Griffith's capacity to crystallize cinema's standard narrative editing. In cinema editing, there's before Birth of a Nation and after Birth of a Nation.

Of course, it presents a distorted vision of black people, but most societies have grown in maturity. Sadly, many individuals seem incapable of realizing that the genes responsible for skin color have no link with intellect and personnality. Many of the above comments express this social immaturity

  • Of course that depiction can't be true, just look at the finesse of African Political leaders in 2009.

  • The freaking truth is all around US today.

Truth speaks and must be beat down.

  • Please remember that this was filmed in a time when blacks were hung from trees. Progress has been made but anyone who agrees that this is the true nature of blacks (although it is for some) needs to elevate their mentality. Globalization is making the world smaller and Census has reported that by 2040, whites will be the minorty. We must adopt through understanding rather that divide through hate.

  • @edgarrncn tell that to the 34,000+ white women who are raped by blacks every year in the USA.

  • @itchychinaman So what years is this fact based on? and what is this in relation to rapes in the US as a whole?

  • @itchychinaman

RACIST BASTARD IDIOT. GO TO A KKK RALLY AND EAT SHIT

  • @itchychinaman

and you explain the millions of blacks killed just because the color of their skin o.O

  • This is a sick, racist video that shows how backwards the U.S. was. We still have a long way to go.

  • Yeah, electing a guy strictly because he's black shows we've learned nothing!

  • Funny thing is whites have always voted on race but as soon as blacks do it. Its either unpopular or not fair... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I bet anyone a dollar the next election will be about race.

  • @ lilrog0909

Yeah, for the last 200 years, there have been no issues anyone cared about. I was just thinking Bush was whiter than Al Gore. Couldn't make up my mind. . ......yeah that makes sense.

Yeah, next election, it'll be about steaming pile of excrement that Pelosi and Obama have put on the economy for us to sit in.

  • @ thompsov19

Yeah tell me about it, just elected the most dangerous and woefully inexperienced president ever, just because we want to get rid of some non-existent white guilt.

  • This is what happens when blacks have a majority of governmental control.

  • Well looks like the president is black..so now what?

  • so what

  • fucking masterpiece
