A muffler has neglible effect on a cars emissions, your pre-cat and catalytic converter handle that. Your muffler just makes your cars exhaust quieter than it really is.

i have an 04 mazda3 gt and i was looking into getting the ms3 exhaust but i heard it took power away cus it wasn't designed for a N/A engine? do you know if this is true?

@MurrMan23 the stock mazdaspeed 3 exhaust is better then the stock mazda 3 exhaust but it still drops down and makes a 90 degree turn which is never good. If you want to improve performace the best place to start is with a good brand name down pipe!

got my speed3 exhaust put on today, this video just doesn't do it justice. sounds so much better in person. very deep growl. Only thing is theres that hell of a drone at constant speeds lol

yeah it is true, that constant drone is whats keeping my mom outta my car haha. Yeah in reality it DOES sound better but what can we do? haha XD

well, I don't know if ur on mazda3forums or not, but a lot of people on there removed the 2nd resonator and added a magnaflow muffler. They all say that it keeps the sound, but eliminates the drone. IDK though, drone don't bother me too bad.

Well..i purchased of it from people on the mazda3forums and the price range is is around 220-260. I did notice some more push going up hill so if you consider that gain then yeah haha
