@starmoto3787: I cant remember entirely but you start to see him get possessed a little (eyes changing and voice deepens/gruffies a little) in episode 136 when he duels the mad king to save his friends. (second part of the duel BTW) that's when we meet Haou (Supreme King) a little (so I recommend starting there) but as the episodes go on we all know what happens to Judai and meet Haou even more

Love it! You know the lead singer of Evanescence is my 3rd cousin. I couldn't believe it either but it's true. It's my dad'd cousin's cousin. Her name is Amy Lee. I've never met her because she was born in Cali and I don't think she's ever been to Alabama which is where I live. I do look a little like her. Well, except for the pitch black hair. I have blondish brownish hair. But in the face you can really tell we're related.

You're right there. But it's sort of hard to suspect it with no idea what his past was like, but that's with most of the characters. Only those villans or those who don't seem to last long get character development, but yeah. SO cheery, hiding the pain accumulated over the years until it bursts out in the worst possible way.
