This song actually came out as a single in the U.S. & the UK, as the 85555 album was recorded & released in an English-language version there. The vocals on "Carbonara" were re-recorded & reverb effects were added to them for the international version, although the same Italian and German lyrics actually remained on the song. The only change to the lyrics was they substituted Coca-Cola for "coppa di cola". It ended up being the only Spliff single released outside Germany.

@TheDigitalwarz thin italians??? i am italian and i live in italy and i cant say that all italians are thinny,btw you forgot that its about spaghetti ''carbonara''if you have time check out whats carbonara made of. They sing ''carbonara e una coca cola'' i think its better to eat saussages and drink a beer than this if you dont want to get fat and last but not least in italy we have the best saussages and beer , the italians favourite snack.How it seems you havnt seen so much of the world :D
