Haven't stayed at the Wynn or Encore, but I did recently stay at The Mirage in the a newly renovated Tower Suite. Beautiful! He had vision and it's passed the test of time.

nope, he pulled in the difference in cash from lloyds of london, he claimed the differnece from 139M to 89M=40M. The appraisal of the painting post repair was 89M so he sued for insurance. Imagine the having the good fortune of having an offer of 139M on record just before the painting was damaged.

The original plan was to build the Mirage downtown, little know fact, but Union Pacific railroad wouldn't sell Wynn the land downtown at the price he wanted. Keep in mind this wasn't even on Fremont St., so who knows what would have happened to Downtown if that happened.
