Look here on YT for "Christian Marclay mini documentary" to see a guy who has really made an art out of doing strange stuff with vinyl.

THE TURNTABLE was wobbly.. IT WAS FOUND IN THE GARBAGE, THE RECORDS, also garbage finds, and scratched or moldy.

THE PURPOSE- Artistic Textural Experiments! beautiful surreal up-close photos.. Sound recorded via camera mic, condenser mic and D/I, All to be used in musical compositions. From opera to building demolition, to stabbing a speaker with a plastic fork. All beautiful sounds for the taking.
