Anyone not growing up in the 60;s missed out on the greatest decade of the 20th Century , what with Carnaby Street the Cavern , Twiggy etc thats when music was music and love was the in thing, how my generation long for those blissfull days to return aaaahhhhh the memories
Zabadak, Zabadak Karakakora Kakarakak Zabadak Shai Shai Skagalak Zabadak,... Look for meaning not in words But in the way you're feeling If it's love we'll understand For love is all revealing Like a rhythm like a spell It sets your soul in motion Love that's sure could rule the world A tide to turn an ocean
i went to see the solid silver 60s in Llandudno. it was reli gd. Dave dee, dozy, beaky, mick and titch were the stars of the show. i will remeber it forever!!!!
Re: "Where are they now?", they're on tour doing the Solid Silver '60s Show, along with Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Swinging Blue Jeans and Dave Berry, if anyone's interested...

that was the time when we really had fun making music and listening to the bands we loved. I´m glad that I was young at that time and enjoyed it!

I agree, they certainly seemed to enjoy fooling around for the camera, this just reminds me of the happy, pop stuff the 60`s had to offer.

Great performance. Look at these faces!
Such a deep joy of life, such a deep humour in this.
In Germany we have only got Helge Schneider.
Dave Dee, rest in peace, thank you for all your music!

This and "Hold Tight" are sadly unappreciated here in the US. *sigh*
AnonyFerret 3 years ago 6
Agreed...but were the Monkees for example ever Fully appreciated here in UK ?
bigzebb 3 years ago 2
Good point. :) I suppose on the one hand, they improve with novelty, and on the other, nostalgia makes them sound better.
