  • that's my favourite song to!!just perfect!

  • Thank YOU for leaving comments

  • I discovered that they played here in Japan a couple weeks AFTER they played. I would have gone to every show. I was swearing for weeks about missing that show. I just hope they hit the road again.

  • this is amazing

it makes me wonder why anyone chooses guitar

next i wanna see a rock/metal bass 3 peice collab with les claypool john myung and billy sheehan, that would be amazing i wonder how they would work together

  • I love all 3 of these guys. But this leaves me flat. I have never said that about anything I heard Clarke do. Maybe they looked around the room and decide 3 monsters being monsters would be too much and they all laid back? Now give me Stanely and Louis doing Play the Bass. And I love Marcus but he is so much like Clarke. Its like if Jimi did an album with Stevie Ray. It would be sometimes redundant. I would like to see Stanley do and album with Billy Sheehan. Now thats contrasts.

  • Driving down Vancouver Island last night I listened to CBC radio profile this album. I got so excited, I had to stop the car. It must be spring! This is the best sound I've heard in years, it is inspiring!

  • Thanks for the comments. I agree with you..this CD is an example of great music, which gets PLENTY of play on my iPod! Hopefully, SMV releases a DVD in the near future!

  • Thanks to CBC Saturday night music radio show that profiled this album last night. I had to stop driving, I got so excited. It's been years for music to hit me like this album. Isn't it just like spring!

  • Hey man!

Sounds cool; I hope it sounds even better on stage tonight.. Gonna check 'em out in Groningen, Holland. Just can't wait!

    Grtz!

  • Great choice... I'm so disappointed they will not tour in Italy too...

  • Great Choice of course, here in France we will see SMV in Casino de Paris on october 27th...We couldn't beleive its true but they made it.

Bassists Fans like us are very grateful for such a great trio, the unbeleivable SMV.

I'm agree with you, a DVD will be perfect.

    Bertrand from Paris ;-)

  • rumor has it that a dvd is coming out after the tour...

  • sweet song choice. you should have seen them play this song live..... damn. but hands down, their show opener "Maestros de las Frecuencias Bajas" was nutn' but good ol fashioned raw funk, uncut cut funk.... you know what i mean.

  • Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, I heard about SMV's show, and would buy a DVD in a heartbeat if they decide to release one. Hmm, I better start leaving messages on the group's page...LOL

  • Truly awesome. Cheers for the post.

  • Thanks for posting a comment. 'Thunder' is a great project...let's hope the Grammy committee agrees!

  • Thanks for posting this here, and I'm definately going to buy the CD.

I just heard a piece from this CD yesterday at the end of a news story on NPR radio (Morning Edition).

I liked it so much I e-mailed NPR and asked them what was the name of that song they played at the end of the news story, and they told me it was "Hillbillies on A Quiet Afternoon" from the CD "Thunder".

  • You're more than welcome, and check out Victor Wooten & Marcus Miller on 'Miller Time', which is attached to this video.

  • great video, great music! thanks for sharing man

  • Thank YOU for taking the time to post a comment!! Enjoy

  • I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that loves to read credits on cds; a partnah of mine doesn't get it, but then he wonders how I end up with all this good music he doesn't know anything about... Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks for the comment ReeRee! This CD is killing me...they BETTER release a DVD or else!!!
