The Ford GT wasn't built for any specific purpose but one, tribute to the incredible GT40. Compare it to anything you want, it won't change a damn thing. It's a great car, at a great price. A Z06 is badass too, and a little cheaper, but much harder to live with on a daily basis. These two cars are very cheap compared to euro's and rice, and tear them up when they need to. Ford GT & C6 Z06/ZR1 own all comers, stop crying. Americans CAN build a car that turns, blame the consumers for not buying.

Yes, you are right. The newer Cayenne Turbo S has 550hp. But it doesnn't change much. It's still 2000 pound heavier. The fastest Tuning Cayenne is build by SPORTEC. It has 700hp and 0-200 km/h = 14,6 sec and Topspeed 308 km/h. The GT is 0-200 km/h = 12.0 sec and Topspeed 330 km/h. But honstly, if someone buys a 5000 pound SUV to be fast, it just doesn't make sense. Even if you got the straight line performance in the corners you'll find out, it's still a tank.
