Too much Warcraft specific dialog in the audio diminishes the immersion into the Mana setting, but nicely cut trailer nonetheless.

I still haven't gotten around to playing this either, so it'll be a refreshing thing to watch.

@postnjam Secret of Mana 2, though Secret of Mana is itself Seiken Densetsu 2. Seiken Densetsu is Final Fantasy Adventure, a Gameboy game that was HCBailly's first side LP.

They sell items that duplicate spells that your party could obtain through class changing anyway, and the right combination of characters. So it takes away from the uniqueness of the job classes. For instance, they sell items that cast buffs, so why would you need to bring a buffer in your party when you have items that do the same thing?

It's not just Byzel, though. Just about every spell in the game can be duplicated by SOME item.

Riesz(Lise) is by far my favorite character. "Decision bell" is probably my favorite theme from this game as well. Also, who doesn't like full-screen boss battles (I'm looking at you, FMH).

YES!!! I've been waiting for months for this series and now it looks even bigger than I would ever have expected.

I noticed (spoilers?) in the trailer that Angela appears as both Archmage and Rune Master; will we see both classes in the LP series? I recently played through Lise's path with the Magus in my party and had no regrets about it. Now playing Duran's path and will combine Swordmaster with a high-Strength Grand Divina!

Square would have basically been printing money had they just translated and released this themselves. I don't know why they didn't make more more 3 player games like this, it greatly enhances the fun and replay value. FF13 probably would've worked with 3 player too. Sometimes I just don't know. Anyway, can't wait to see this and how much better HCBailly is at this game than I was.

Looks like your idea is plausible. The items sold in the Byzel Black Market can make certain characters' job classes in the game lose their value in terms of healing, de-buffing, and buffing.

I'm sure HCBailly will go into further elaboration when he gets this LP going.

@HCBailly I'm currently doing Duran's path with Angela, in order to get the most complete storytelling. But I agree with you about how poorly the two characters normally fit together. However, Angela *can* benefit at least somewhat from Duran's abilities, and there are two ways this can come about. You can call these two ways the "MP method" and the "17 Strength method", if you get my drift....
