The pics are I'm guessing David Cook but hes definitely not singing. I really wish the uploader of this video would change the name of this video and/or give Edwin McCain credit.

Also, why would anyone think that this would be David? they didn't do entire *covers* untill the finale, so it's quite impossible that this could be him, even if it didn't sound exactly like Edwin's original acoustic version...

I, too, have been searching for a longer version of "I'll Be" by DC. I understand about the permission issue. I just wish there was a way to convince Edwin McCain to let DC's be aired as a concession to the winner of Season 7.

I saw this song on Idol Rewind (Season 2) just last week.

What litte we did get to see of DC's version was great on the prepackaged video for Happy Together.

i thought of sharing this with y'all since i was also looking like crazy for that full audition clip of DC singing this song. It's never aired koz Edwin McCain has not given his permission for it to be on air. Apparently he is fed up with his song being "murdered" lots of times in the past especially on AI that he has withheld his permission. It has been said that this song is one of the most-used audition song in AI history and that aside from DC, MJ and Castro also sang this during season 7.
