the main point of the vicious cycle is obvious but why is he in a field with torn clothes? what do the body parts in the field mean? why is the kid in the water and then the guy coughing out water?
@baysacrazy the meaning is philosophical really...you see, art is about hidden meanings in symbols...the kid under water could represent his inner torment that ends at the moment he reaches the surface (a.k.a. achieves vengeance) and so on...every random looking element could have a meaning...another example could be why he wakes up in a desolate place filled with mud and stuff like that.representing his fucked up world he lives in, blinded by hatred..it's all about how YOU perceive your reality
Would've been better without the crappy music near the end. The first track was subtly sinister, and worked. The emo rock was too blatant. Really well shot though, and very intriguing. Didn't need to be so confusing either, would've worked if it was more simple.
I thought that was an absolutely amazing piece! but... under two things. When your actor is killing the murderer who killed his father, the music definitely did not fit the scene at all. I didn't think it was confusing at all, i thought the actual meaning to it was great. The plot I can relate to a lot, because besides all the murdering this is kind of like wat 1/4 of my life is actually like. Great job!
it was nicely done, but i agree that it's a little hard to follow, we can only assume that this is a never ending cycle of hate but if that's what we were supposed to take from this video then it should have shown the knife being left behind that way we know that the kid is going to hunt him down like he did with his father's killer.
well those are my two cents, but i did like the music in the end. :D
Good ... but there is not enough explanation of the plot to make it solid.
dont understand the boat scene, or why the villan was in a wheelchair, or the knife in the ground, or whether or not the 2nd boy looking at the 2nd murder was the victiims son. Lets face it, it is very hard to tell that sort of a story in just a few minutes.
Beautifully visual film BUT the song that comes in towards the end completely kills all that. Up until there I was completely taken in by the visual storytelling - which is very effective - and then you get this song distracting you from it.

Excellent cinematography, acting and visual storytelling, however, certain elements are unclear, e.g. the knife sticked in the ground, the corpse.
