I've seen many cabin crew like at 1:27 turning around to ensure passengers are okay and comfortable, but somehow only the SQ girl can give me some sort of reassurance and security like I know I will be well taken care of during the flight. That is why SIA is so special.

@danishoncloud9 Business Class. The old Business Class configuration in SIA was a TV that can be pulled out from the arm rest. AND of course SIngapore Airlines has inflight tv on every single airplane on every single seat on every single route.

I liked SIA in general but my last flight going to Singapore was a shocker. Not only was the chinese stewardess rude but looked like as if she had a bad day before working! Even the passenger sitting infront had very cold treatment as if we all should be grateful that she was serving us! All I can say is not all Singapore stewardess are nice as they have been made out to be!

Please, all SQ flight have PTVs even if it may be only a short 2 hour flight.

As for business class, the PTVs are in the armrests if im not wrong.

i think this is not a380... maybe the planes that are used 4 domestic flights... coz usually international flights have personal screen.. ive gone for intrenational flghts above 12 hours, they have tv... but for below 4 hours i think doesnt have a personal tv....

I think SIA missed the boat a bit by missing out on the enhanced economy class and going with some all business/first class seats planes. Yes,SIA has good service, but I thought their KF had no discernable point for 'normal frequent flying' members until you reached Gold membership. And when you remember their prices are about 1/4more than other reasonable arlines (eg Emirates)you have to wonder whether it is better getting a 'free' flight every 4 flights rather than boosting your KF membership.

You have clearly never flown with Singapore Airlines then if you think the SQ cabin crew only treat F and J passenger like this. SIA philosophy is to treat every passenger the same regardless of their seat number and section. I ave flown with SIA in economy and i can tell you that the service was amazing.

In this case yes, however the plane is enclosed, you can hear the door close wherever you sit, if u take notice.

When door is open, one can hear the engine noise and whine of the mobile aircooler pumping air into the cabin. There is a loud solid thump when the door closes and outside noise is totally shut off, especially the high frequencies. A few seconds later, the cool air stops flowing, as the mobile AHU is disconnected.

back from sydney with SQ on the A380. honestly, SQ cabin crew offers the best service in the sky compared to other top airlines. their attitude and discipline on board is something that other airlines can only aspire.

HI, you may have seen in today's newspaper, about closure of Jakarta airport 10 hours due to bad weather, 1st time in 25 years. 3 planes plane were coming from Singapore to JKT and had to return Singapore mid-flight due to poor visibility 300m at JKT airport. Finally, the plane arrived 3 hours late and we boarded for Singapore. So all passengers were upset and irritable, used phones to inform families that we were on way home. Waited another hour in plane before takeoff. More videos....
