Summer Rayne Oakes and I came up with the idea to create a sustainable fabric library at FIT in 2003. We discussed this at length with Leslie Hoffman. I'm glad Leslie was able to turn it into reality. I'm still waiting for my invitation to come and visit.

This had some great messsages for people to listen to. It was smarter to take away the choices available so being environmentally friendly is built into the system they live on.
