  • Sadly, it's a reflection of the fact that the band's heyday was 35 years ago and of course we lost Lee Brilleaux at a tender age. I've no doubt that if LB was still with us, he'd be fronting Dr feelgood and ripping the place apart.

    From everything I've read and know it was the great man's express wish that the band carry on without him and they still carry the torch to good effect.

  • Having seen the (IMHO) the 2 "classic" Feelgood lineups on numerous occasions in the 70s (the one with Wilko and the one with Gypie Mayo); I cannot understand how we've got to a situation where what would be the closest thing to a reunion of one of those classic lineups has to act like a tribute band. While another band going under the name of Dr Feelgood come on the same stage with a line up having no members from any of the classic lineups at all? BTW this clip is fantastic. Thanks.
