I think of these horses as standing for all of the favorite American favorites as in John Wayne, Apple pie and our freedom but American's do not slaughter our horses or eat them.. BOOO to all the Belgiums that do this.. You will never ever know what these horses stand for !
@ilcowgirl Stand corrected, Americans do eat horsemeat and do slaughter horses. Heck, Americans kill horses and don't eat them, just because they're 'overstocked', the horses ending up in the glue-factory! I have seen this evil myself and will not sit and watch anyone speaking bad of another country while being guilty of it in their own but choosing not to see it and play ignorant. America houses some of the best horse-men, but also the most painful of plain users and abusers.

@JasperIsaLittleHorse I was merely stating that the person I commented to shouldn't pretend like Belgium is the only country slaughtering horses. In every country people will eat it, we can't stop it, because then they will start screaming it's their right to eat it. And I gave a great compliment: Most horsemen I know and admire come from America as well ^^ Ow, and it's not the first thing by far ;) We just have to keep our own horses safe and give an example.
@ponyangel1987 I understand that. And I do relise that there are slaughter houses out there hidden in the country that do slaughter within the boarders of america. But most horses get shipped over the boarders to mexico or canada. Every country is guilty of it except maybe small countries like Sweden. But the ones most guilty of it are the ones that don't have awareness about it, America is extreemly publisized, theres hardly any privacy, so things like that get out fast and that makes it hard.

@FluffyUnicorns7 then again, if you two are bickering about the type of Apple Pie with raisins in it, then well that one was invented in Europe, but the original Apple Pie, the one with just apples, cinnamon, sugar and a crust, was invented in a southern state in America after the Europeans brought over their version of the Apple Pie.
