Farley's message is empty. He thinks not being legalistic is the basis for closeness to God. He doesn't realize that this is in itself legalistic. Christ's righteousness graciously and forensically imputed to God's elect is the basis of closeness with God. In John 10 Christ said He came to lay His life down for His sheep. He then told some in His audience that they did not believe because they were not His sheep. What's this mean, Farley, if not Jesus did not die for everyone?
I don't miss the "joys" of the law one bit! I was saved on the battlefield in Vietnam. I saw my Jesus do things to protect me you wouldn't believe - well, you might. It was only when I got back to the U.S. that the lawmen began to pummel me with these very things - telling me how I had to submit to them, be a "real disciple sold out for Jesus," and do, do, do so he would be pleased with me - oh, yea, and give my 10% so I wouldn't suffer. Nope! Thank you Jesus for being my FRIEND!
This book has completely changed everything for me in my faith. I finished reading it and immediately started reading it again. Thank you so much Mr. Farley!
Very exciting! I learned about (and recorded a series on) why the New Testament church does not have to tithe. But I'm afraid that if I upload them that my denomination might turn against me! I love the peace of God I can feel coming from you. You are at peace because you know there is nothing between you and God!
Hey Andrew, I passed the "biblical" quiz with a perfect score; but I can't take the credit. It was my coming to the same place (in the study of the church I was pastoring) you did. I finally understand Christ's "finished" work on the cross, His total forgiveness of ALL our sin(s), and the receiving of His gift, eternal life, for
SALVATION. Thank you for your clear and "biblical" presentation of God's TRUTH.
Hey 4givn4life great to see you here, the book is fantastic and very well written and covers a lot of issues that Christians are confused about. Hope you get a copy and pass it around. We all know folks who could use a copy. wink, wink!
This book is awesome I hope everyone gets the opportunity to read this and see what the gospel is all about. Well done Andrew the Holy Spirit anointed you in a powerful way to bring these incredible truths to the body of Christ.
Andrew, thanks for addressing some questions regarding scripture that no one wants to ask. I have often wondered about the "forgiveness paradox" but never considered asking.

Next to the Bible, this is the most freeing book I have ever read. I am still in shock. Don't pinch me. :)

It is such a blessing to see more and more people who are seeing things for what they really are.
Thank you for allowing God to use you to open the eyes of the church (those who are teachable and hungry), Andrew!
