I agree kellen clemens and ratliff are not our answer, but this guy isn't either. He played in the big 12, anyone with an arm can be good there. He threw 34 ints, and he was terrible against good teams. He telegraphs every throw, bad footwork and slow release. He would get eaten up in the AFC East. He has great presence in the pocket along with a good scrambling ability which helps him get away from pressure. Freeman has great arm strength along with good touch on the deep ball. He has decent accuracy,a lthough he sometimes throws on the other side of his Receivers. Nice delivery and mechanics. He is also a great leader. He sometimes gets caught throwing off his back leg a lot, or sometimes on the run, when it's not needed; he needs to plant his feet and make the good throw.

Freeman has beat Texas twice and that's it. Both Michael Bishop and El Roberson were better QB's and you could probably put Chad May above him as well. He is in his third season and after the Lousiville game I don't see any improvment. He had two Interceptions and one fumble in that game. Prince made a huge mistake by getting rid of Allen Everidge (who now starts for Wisconsin) and starting Freeman as a Freshman. The golden boy only has one more season after this to prove himself.
