@JBX077 no way. It lessens the maneuverablility of both. You have less protection than a car and less lee way than a bike. and if this falls on top of you...bad thing. A bike..not so bad unless it's a touring or a huge Harley. And it would guzzle gas more than a bike. And why would you not have to worry about wet roads? every rider does who is logical.
I HAVE A 2008 SPYDER GS AND IT BREAKS DOWN EVERY 1,000 MILES. DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE UNLESS YOU LIKE WORKING ON BIKES MORE THAN RIDING OR YOU HAVE A LOT OF CASH SO YOU CAN BUY TWO SO WHEN ONE IS IN THE SHOP YOU CAN RIDE THE OTHER.
Great review of the RT Your comment about the stiff/hard steering may be due to the power steering pump. Can Am have issued a recall whee they have the pump changed. I had similar issues which were resolved when the pump was replaced
