mitchell is one of my favourite directors, and i really enjoy his performance in the wedding banquet, too.

I didn't really get the sense he was embarrassed to be interviewed. I'm just wondering if maybe his time in front of the camera has passed for a reason or maybe having been an actor, he doesn't work well without a script. I don't know any adults that could talk openly and without embarrassment about this subject. ;-)

Why is Lichttenstein so embarrassed to be interviewed about this movie? He acts as if he is a little kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. Is it possible that film making is an anonymous art until someone interviews a filmmaker while on video or is it just the subject matter.
