Cancun Airport

I really fancy cancun but have been hearing really awful things about it recently ,i think we'll stick to Orlando

ive been to cancun and i gotta tell you it was a complete shithole.damn neer got mugged,cops looked like common criminals and the airport security acted like they could treat all visitors like shit.on a bright note tho the staff at the gran caribe real couldnt have been any nicer so if anyone from that resort read this thanks for everything.

@truckerman23 We have a much better time in Las Vegas... Right this minute we are on the 50th floor of the Rio, and it beats anything we have visited in Mexico hands down...

I live in cancun walk through the airport almost everyday except for fridays lmfao because i work there :S hahaha

The only drags about airports is that you have to wait in line for everything and it's all expensive, but other than that they can be exciting... Oh, did I mention security and customs? Bleccch!

True enough there is sadness, but usually for me there is an 8 hour flight to go with it!:)

Flights rarely last longer than five or six hours for us. After that Mexico trip I was on a high for about three months, so the vacation did me some good after all :)

Hope you had a great time in Cancun. The airport looks differnt than when we were there. I love vacations BUT HATE TO FLY, I just KNOW I am going to die on the plane. It is a horrible phobia

and seems to get worse the older I get.

We have been to Cancun three times over the last four years and the airport looks different every time we go. They keep on constructing and expanding things all the time!

"We're in Mexico, keep your shoes on" ... guess lot of people put their shoes off there that it is worth to make a sign for it. Perhabs they had enough from stinky cheesy feet, hahaha. I remember in 2004 the airport here also wanted me to put the shoes into the xray scanner but last year no more.

It is required that all airline passengers remove their shoes when going through security at airports in the USA. You still had to put your shoes through the scanner two and a half months ago when I went to South Tube... I have about eight outros now LOL

I remember the Cancun airport, one of the nicer ones I have been in- it is always sad to fly back from a vacation, but what can you do but go home and start planning the next adventure...

Very nice airport. You know, I have a very hard time flying. That ding that you hear on the intercom, it can actually trigger a panic attack for me. I know it sounds strange, I have no idea what it is about it either. When I heard it In the video I got an uncomfortable sensation. And I love to fly too! 5*

Sorry Gregg... That ding is only a minor irritation to me. What bothers me more is the same boring repetitive information about how to buckle the seat belt and how there's a flotation device under my seat...

I haven't been to the Vegas airport since 2000! I imagine it's changed since then because it is the largest growing city in the US... We drove it last time :)
