@BobbyRCane not sure exactly but it does work i find by using both forward and sidestep at the same time while looking at a certain angle gives the impression of improved speed (personally i think its faster) others may disagree with that and just find the general direction of off angles may give exposure to attacks from hybrids and other enemies on the von barun...

Wasn't VON BRAUN a German rocketeer scientist who escaped from WW2 to USA, like Einstein? And developed the rocket engine for the APOLLO project?

System Shock 2 and Deus Ex are FPS/RPG hybrids - whereas Bioshock is FPS with alot of action (great action, mind you). Bioshock don't really have any RPG elements and there is no need to manage your inventory (as you don't even have one) or repair your weapons for that matter either.

Bioshock is fantastic game. But not the same way as System Shock 2, Deus Ex and the likes.

Plus, there's these trimersion goggles also coming out in UK soon which I really want to try out. So yes, I'll not have a girlfriend for the next few moths ha ha.

Unfortunately they started one in the d3 engine, but EA basically told them that they could remake it, but they couldn't use the name, the same names, characters, monsters, and even recreations of the same textures. So it'd be like remaking star trek with the mongolions and magic.

i'm a complete friggne n00b at SS2 (i just got it recently is why) but i already want to do something about it (the game is just amazing and feels kinda Star Trekish which is half the reason i like it) but really i dont' know enough history to do anything about it so can soem one tell me the history to this cause if all goes as planned i might be able ot make a movie out of system shock.

Are you an animator? Im currently an artist in a games industry and I've done tons of animation myself. Its quite funny, getting work in London was really hard, because evertime they asked me what I wanted to do, I said I equally love it all. They just couldnt accept that, the stiffoids (grrr). So Im now doing everything in this company. Back to SS3. Really, are they making a new one????

I agree it's a wonderful game. The full DVD version of this tribute is available on the newsgroups. Better quality and non-stop - it also has a menu like that in the game.

Very cool. I'm just playing through SS2 for the 3rd time. Just at the part where you have to reset the 2 engines. Such a fantastic game. Trumps Bioshock in my humble opinion.
