Girls are usually carriers they usually do not get the disease, so when I got it; everyone had no clue whata to do. 2011 I am still walking even though in alot of pain. I have 4 beautiful kids none which got the defective gene. There is HOPE you just have to believe!

Md runs in the boys in my family. The girls are the ones that carry it.But the boys are the ones that end up getting it. So I was lucky it skip me. But I have a lot of family members with MD. Stay strong you seem to have a good spirt So that is great!
What kind of md do you have? My little cuz has Duchenne and my friends son has the same. My cuz is still walking and has the leg braces. But my friends son he just had his surgery done on his legs. And the one that just had the surgery he is 12yrs old and will no longer walk again.

Hey I think that's why I get on well with the lads becuz the lady nurses can't even wire the PS3's in! I just spent a fab week with a 19 year old lad with MD and we spent every day playing Gran Turismo 5! I wish that I could take every horrid day, every pain and discomfort from you and go through it myself for you. I really do. I'm not just saying that! CJ, you're a cool kid that has a lot of shit to deal with and I commend you for being able to share it with people. On the musician side of things, you seem so much better with technology than music and music will just get harder and harder as the MD gets worse, so don't get your hopes up. Also, I'm sorry, but I really hate the mullet. If it's what you want, then go for it, but I sure wouldn't sport a mullet.

It's so hard... I'm 32, and luckily I can still walk and drive... I was always sick. At your age, the problem are GIRLS. Please don't laugh because is the easiest way to get away from this problem. Talk about it, don't make my mistakes. You're so courageous, keep fighting. It's too hard. I was alone from 14 to 18, when I was able to made new friends. There are a lot of s**k**s in the world.

Hey I think that's why I get on well with the lads becuz the lady nurses can't even wire the PS3's in! I just spent a fab week with a 19 year old lad with MD and we spent every day playing Gran Turismo 5!
