ahhhh!!! this was always my theme song since about 1968 or 69 I head this instrumental first!!! before the Barbara Acklin version about a year later. I Haven't got a chance to compare the master numbers or The Record release numbers on the original 45 rpm phonograph records yet..Has any one else?? I still have mine!!! I remeber this from 6th grade (1968). We used it in a school play. It took me years to find it because I didn't know who recorded it. One day a friend of a friend and I was discussing music we enjoyed back in the day. This song came up. All I had to do was hum a few notes and he told me the title and artist. Its been on all of my playlists every since. As everyone always says about great music--"they don't make 'em like they used to".
