Barry tattooed me a few years ago when he has a shop in London I've had quite a lot of work done over the years by lots of artists(ahem) but Barrys work is by far the best ive had done i couldnt recommend him highly enough.
@Ms1loko3 Start drawing and try to get a receptionist job in the best tattoo shop near you. If you have any talent they should start training you up. Good luck.
@Penzanceink, im very interested in getting my maori tattoo. i actually designed it myself being that im a photography and photoshop. that being said this would be my first tattoo and i did alot of research. a friend of mine told me that ink spreads after years. so she said that those fine lines that are close to each other (which is what i want) after years it will all blend looking kinda blochy. is this true? i can redo my design if this is the case so after 15 years its still good.
@Fabian9931 Fabian i do alot of my own ta moko work from home as i've just moved into a new town.
The lining can be alot different in terms of thi fill in e.g us maori have different "patterns" or expressions we utilize in our art forms so instead of those lines the patterns can be added, just a thought
@Fabian9931 kia ora careful not to imatate designs as it is considered an insult and identity theft, you have to have a deep understanding of ta moko, for maori it is a birth right.
On one of his videos he stated he wasn't going to post any info on his technique. I love the line work. Some of the best I've seen and I'm a tattoo artist.
@RoyalCaoCao its painful for everyone, unless you dont feel pain lol.. not trying to scare you but it is a needle going in and out of your skin thousands of times, its a different kind of pain though, depending on wich part of your arm you'll be getting it on, it shouldnt hurt much, the pains deffinetly withstandable if thatt makes sence lol

Maori inspired yes, no where near a traditional maori tattoo. The Koru ( spiral ) is not fully formed also the 'triangles' are of Samoan influence .

id say a 3 round tight liner diamond tip tube, and his lines are so smooth because his hands depth and speed are in sync, years of experience
