At the school where I teach, the macs are crashing a lot, but who knows what students do the those things. I'm sure if I had G5 at home it would be reliable, but there is no need to spend the xtra as the PC gets the job done. All in all a real pro knows all the available equipment, and chooses whatever he likes for his own.(not what someone tells him). Cheers, and happy motion graphics to all!

grab yourself a mac.. mac's are build for designers and they work x100 better.

Macs and PCs work equally well. In todays graphics world it's good to be familiar with both. The computer that works best is the one you take proper care of. At home my PC is rock solid, never crashes.
