He wasn't put down at the booth because it was too small and staff was seriously not prepared for the amount of people that showed up. So they asked him to go into the glass booth because had he gone down it would have been dangerous. Also, during the time that all the girls didn't see him, he was doing interviews and I think also filming for a segment on News Zero. ^^;

No. From what I hear, Johnny's main concern wasn't fanservice in America for movie goers but for the interviews, hyping up the movie, etc. It was supposedly NYCC who were anxious to get him to the booth due to demand and etc. So I think that's why they managed to wrangle an appearance (though initally meant to be down by the booth as you can see he ended up somewhere entirely different. xD) but the giving of autographs was canceled.

It's a rule that Johnny's boys can't sign autographs. NYCC was not ready for the kind of outcome that happened. Sho wasn't even prepared, he didn't think he had any fans.

I was at the premeire and at this greeting, at the q&a part of the premeire the guy asked Sho is he had any idea of all of these fans, Sho said "shiranai."

Even though this was short, Sho had so many other things to do, and we should be happy (those of us watching this, and that were at NYCC) that there was even a greeting.
