Some games have like a square in half, and you have a unit on it, called light control, all light controls spawn in one side of the square, if you move it to the other side the lights turn off.

Thats a bit advanced, you have to modify the object you want to stack from its root file, its kindda hard, i only know buildings, units are a bit harder.

I'd really like to know who came up with the stack idea. I think I was fortunate enough to be one of the first people to play a stacked defense. I helped some person test out a new map they were making called none other than stacked turret defense. This was like 5-6 years ago.

It was probably someone who realized that you could still build on where a building was placed but none of your units had sight of the area. The only thing keeping their AI from building there was the fact they could still see.

gather all the scvs to one min patch, right click onto gas then shift+ right click onto gas again (does not have to be at the gas yet), then right click where you want the scv to go. can also replace the last right click to attack command

in a cannon defense game the creator makes a game trigger when some one walks on it the lights go out. when the lights are out you can build any where you want so you get the guy to turn of switch. both him and probe must be hot keyed for now you can't see them. make probe build cannons in same spot. then when you want lights on use the light guy to turn them back on.

haha, hot keys are just the keyboard keys m8. for example if you have a unit and press "A" (which is Attack Move) you can click where you want it to "attack move". Same thing with selecting buildings really. Works for grouping 1 or more units as well; just press Ctrl+1 all the way to 0 to make a group to that number.

well use things like shift to select a number of units max is 12 and they will work together. will move together, attack together, ect. if you click on a new unit then you will have to recreate the group. to save the group hit ctrl and x where x is a number between 1 and 0. then when you hit that number (not with ctrl again) then that group will be reselected hit that number twice and it will go to that group if its not on the screen.

also you should try using them for everything building like the comsat, and the groups you are attacking with make you attack much more effective.
