  • *Stomach grumbles* Fuck... xD

  • farking asshole....i swear to myself,i will go to japan one day..the food is farking tempting..

  • Haha - I was looking at the robata place and thought, Gee that looks familiar. I have been there!

  • Looks delicious! If only western cuisine was as varied and tasty . . . How are the food prices compared to Europe and America? And how does your body react to the food?

  • You can pay as much or as little as you want for a meal in Japan. Fugu (poisonous puffer fish) dinner at a fancy restaurant might cost you E250 per person. Noodles at a subway station stall might be E3.00.

I loved the food in Japan. But I'm sort of selective about what I eat. Some the sushi doesn't appeal to me although I think it is probably all safe.

  • But if you go to a traditional style sushi place, as opposed to kaiten sushi, you can probably get fugu sushi for $3-4. I had it and wasn't really impressed with it - chewy and flavourless. But I had to try it! :)

  • Dear Minkofan, if you avoid the places shwon in this video you will be OK. In Tokyo try Hachi-uta in Shibuya, Shunju in Roppongi and Umi in Minato-ku. Dont complain about the bill.

For really great food, however, go to Kyoto or Kanazawa.

  • What is this place?

  • what restaurant is that at the end with the chefs in the middle ?

  • It is a place near the Umeda rail station in Osaka. The chef cooks the food over a fire then passes it to the diners with a long paddle. The style of restaurant is "robatayaki" and most of them are in Osaka.

  • Love this!
