Nintendo Wii SSX Blur Review

I started off loveing it and then the controls let it down so bad I hate motion controls. In games that don't suit em that's y kinect is fun because u still have option to use your pad for games that don't require it unlike wii which forced u to wave your arms around like a mad man

I don't care what these reviewers say, SSX Blur is the worst of the entire franchise. I bought it, and then returned it two days later. It is terrible. 2.0/10.0 in my book.

SSX blur: shitty controls, no storyline, reused tracks, dulled the fuck down characters with no personality, and the graphics aren't really any better. Compare the characters from tricky 3 and on tour to these ones and you'll notice serious downgrades.

i have tricky and ssx 3, tricky was one of the best games ever, but 3 was too easy to land tricks. you let go of the buttons and the rider went back to how he needed to be in order to land. in tricky you had to actually "fix" him straight yourself.

Wtf? Why are u accusing SSX of milking the series? Each new game was extremely different in gameplay, had vastly different maps and characters, and made dynamic changes to the way u get down the mountain. This series changed exponentially more than Call of Duty ever has. Fuck u ssx rules!

Stay the fuck away from this piece of shit. The tilting of the nunchuck to turn is stupid. It's damn near impossible to pull off an uber. I sat for 3 hours trying to get it to work. I got a few to work out of the 100 times I must have tried. ssx 3 had all kinds of cool accessories and outfits and masks and shit for your boarder. This has none of that. Sure it may be rewarding if you get used to it. But who the hell wants to WORK to play a video game. Dig up ur copy of ssx3 and play that instead

I found that the controls were quircky and really hard to get used to. And the game never picks up your movements. As a matter of fact I have never been able to pull off an uber trick and I know I doing it correctly, Ive even tried getting closer and further away from the sensor bar and still nothing. This game should have used the Gamecube controller. I love SSX Tricky its one of my fav. games but this was a fail. avoid it completely.

in my opinion, i think they should have added some more places to skate on the maps or something so its not exactly the same as in ssx3, i also think they should have made the characters look more realistic instead of more cartoonish, and put some more speech in there. i wonder if radio big is still there..? it seems good though for a wii game.

SSX Tricky was the best SSX.First one was awesome.Never played the 3rd one.On Tour is only good on Gamecube because you could play as Mario,Luigi and Princess Peach.Other than that the customization is kinda crap and I don't really like the new soundtrack.The old Run DMC music was win.Louie XIV fails.But I might get SSX Blur just for shits and giggles.

the first 3 SSX games were amazing. 4th one was garbage when it turned into a racing game (not that there is anything wrong with that, but the series isn't about racing) which was just a part of the equaion.

This one could be interesting though since it is on the wii, although i don't like the new cartoon network style, making it not as appealing to all audiences. never the less i'll probably try it out.

they need to bring back the hip hop tricky!
