Good job brother. Been playing for 28 years & you're well on your way to breaking through. One thing I learned along the way was you can have two people sing the same songs & play the same chords, etc.l, but one has passion & emotion & the other doesn't. You definitely do, but think about Who you are singing about & what He's done for you & that will drive the emotion in your voice. I pray God's anointing be on your voice & your music. Shalom
Hey there. As a worship pastor every once in a while I will look for new songs to play at church. I have watched your vids for a while now. And I have to say you have gotten to be SO good, vocally and guitar-wise also. You attack this song with cords that are not too easy to play for normal guitarists, but you do it with ease.
Keep up the good work. Thank you for your instruction, for giving back the gift of praise that God has give you and for lifting up the Savior in song.
hi, you can take a look at the instructional video which is a video response to this. it explains the chords i used to play this song. alternatively, you can check my brother's blog for the chords/tabs. the address is on my channel description page
Thanks Daniel (luv that name) years ago I did praise and worship but went thru a illness and have not played much..I've been trying to learn some of the newer praise songs without much luck
until I found your videos, what a blessing!!
I've put "both"of your videos in my favs
the instructionals and u playing thru the songs great for learning. Thank you again!
The chorus to this song is fantastic. This song would sound terrific with a full band, although you do a find job of giving the song a full sound on your own.
Why do I hit "post" before hearing the whole song?
Daniel, have you considered just tapping the guitar during the extended "my savior lives" part near the end? Simulating a drum-only chant like that would add some nice texture to the song, IMO.
I've been looking for this! :) God bless you for the videos and instructionals you share. I learned many songs :D. I've been waiting for this instructional :) God Bless You!
hey dude im really by ur voice and guitar playing. i was wondering if u could possibly do an acoustic cover of "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door" or "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape" by a christian band called Underoath. it'd be awesome if u could! =] keep up this playing and God Bless
great to see you doing desperation band/new life worship. they are my favorite worship music. just got to worship w/ them @ the enter conference 2 weeks ago. if only everyone knew about desperation band.
thanks for putting this up here.
to all worship leaders out there...this is an awesome song for easter services, and works well all the rest of the year too!
great song selection, nice job picking the non-top 40 stuff that most people don't know about.
Your instructionals and videos have blessed me tremendously in my personal worship as well as in my cell worship sessions. Keep it up bro. May Jesus blessed you further with your guitar skills. Are you able to post intructionals for the following songs?:
