I was at this game and have never heard Spartan stadium as loud as it was when they threw the flag on Ware. It was not a dirty hit. His head was up and he lead with his hands not his head. They didn't throw a flag because it was illegal, they threw the flag because the player got hurt. Our youth, and awful secondary really showed in this game. We could have won it, but Iowa was the better team overall. How idiotic was Rucker on the last play? It was obviously gonna be a slant.

@msu13fan If Iowa, Wisconsin, and MSU go undeafted you are right MSU will go to the Rose Bowl (iowa falls out due to rec. and MSU beat Wisc) however, if Wisconsin loses just one game (@Michigan is the only likely one) and both Iowa and MSU win out Iowa goes to the rose bowl (head-head is taken into account before overall rec). Contrary to popular belief on ESPN MSU doesn't want Iowa to win out (they do want them to beat osu though)* They really want Wisconsin to win out

MSU could afford a loss, but they couldn't afford a murder which is what happened at kinnick. I am an Iowa fan so I would predict this but here it goes: Iowa wins out (close win over OSU tho). MSU loses again (Penn State), and Wisconsin loses @ Michigan to a team that needs a good win as much as a good coach

@tomizzo11 his helmet is below the guys shoulder pads, and tries to get his head onside at 4:42. stanzi made a poor decision to pass it there because he set up his reciever to take a big hit. but in the end he was rewarded for it. Also if you were watching the game, you may remember that this play may have cost us the game. lastly all the commentators on the big ten network thought that was a bad call.

I was at this game and have never heard Spartan stadium as loud as it was when they threw the flag on Ware. It was not a dirty hit. His head was up and he lead with his hands not his head. They didn't throw a flag because it was illegal, they threw the flag because the player got hurt. Our youth, and awful secondary really showed in this game. We could have won it, but Iowa was the better team overall. How idiotic was Rucker on the last play? It was obviously gonna be a slant.

@victory4msu26 it wasn't Rucker 100%. if we just played coverage instead of blitzing, the pass would have had a higher chance of being tipped that McNutt wouldn't have made that catch. with that being said, that's why our passing defense were terrible. if we played coverage, then our opponents should have a harder time of passing over us. well we may play a 3-4 defense this upcoming season. lets hope it'll improve our passing defenses as well as us getting better secondary players

they lost to NW after losing their starting quarterback in the second quarter and putting in a guy who had thrown 3 passes previously in his entire college career.....then they go to OSU and lose by 3 in OT.....and they have a dropped touchdown in the first half by a usually reliable receiver, and add a missed field goal...so they left points on the board as well......they aren't overrated, they just got everyone's best shot when they were ranked 4th in the nation and undefeated.....

im with boz on this one and i dont even like the hoosiers. the refs clearly favored the hawkeyes. terrible officiating. almost as bad as that bullshit call today when state played minnesota and they called a fumble that state recovered an incomplete pass when it was clearly a catch. next play, of course, minnesota gets a touchdown to destroy any hope left in the spartans. bad officiating in the big ten all around today. it was horrible.
