@justfly60482 slightly choppy water is best. Glassy water seems to create a suction effect on the floats, while ripples allow air underneath the floats and let it break free much easier. Sometimes I'll be pulling full up elevator, for a couple seconds before it finally rotates, and then it shoots up at a very high AOA and threatens to stall. Good luck!
