I believe that vaccinations have side effects we don't understand or can prove. My family may not be able to handle their ingredients. I wish I could have another child and not vaccinate it just to see if that child gets on the spectrum or not. I'm not financially stable enough to have another child so i'm not going to. I guess it will remain a mystery in my family.
UPDATE: Yes my son has Aspberger's. No 2 kids with it are the same. I think genetics may play a role in it. I suffer with it everyday myself. How ironic my son has what I have and it not be called heredity. My daughter who is now 4 is showing signs of Aspberger's too but on a much milder scale than her brother. I'm just saying that it can be genetic too.
my son is on the spectrum. Now finally, after 12 years of knowing my son has aspberger's since he was 5, got the diagnosis and the school system did their evaluations and concluded that my son is ASD autism spectrum disorder so now it's official in the school system on his IEP individual education plan. He will finally be placed in a class he belongs in now that he is in middle school.
I enjoyed watching your video. My son is 8 years old and he has ADHD and autistic like behaviors. He can ride a bike and rollerskate but has a hard time zipping and buttoning clothing. He too can not tie his shoes. Having a child with special needs takes a lot of patience and he's well worth it. I know some days are harder than others that's for sure.
I see you are a psychiatrist, psychologist, or pediatric neurologist or developmental pediatrician.
My son was diagnosed with mild autism. It is hard every day the struggles we face with him.
I have tried to teach him to ride a bike or tie his shoes but he lacks the motor skills needed to accomplish the tasks. his coordination is so bad he can't play sports. He can walk and talk just like any other kid but
just a little differently. he is in special classes and therapies.
this video was shot before he was diagnosed. It takes a long time to get an accurate diagnosis.
You do not know or live with my child to make that analysis.
He has a seizure disorder but you can't tell that by this video because he didn't seize in the video.
so does that mean he doesn't have one? Moms know their kids. they seek help when some things wrong unlike most dads say he's fine! he'll out grow it. but don't. gets worse
My son was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. A mom knows when their child is different from other kids. I am angry that my 2 comments can watch this video and give their analysis of my son without meeting him face to face and see the challenges and hardships we face everyday dealing with his disabilities.
With all the therapy and attention, he still is 4 grade levels behind peers his age and he gets a lot of help.He needs ABA therapy but we cannot afford it.

I forgot my son is a very picky eater and will only drink out of certain cups. And if it looks different forget it even though it looks fine to me.

The reason he can't ride a bike or play sports with kids his age, is because he lacks the coordination skills to play at their level.
Balance issues severe. He weighs too much for training wheels.
My daughter is 3.5 yrs old and can't pedal a trike because it's too hard on her feet.
She doesn't have the severe delays her brother has. She could very well be on the same autism spectrum but on a milder scale.
